Violators will be fined up to 1,000<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">If foreigners need to work in Thailand, regardless of whether they have residency in Thailand or not, they must apply for a work permit in advance.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">A work permit is a document issued by the Thai Labor Bureau to allow foreigners to work legally in Thailand.<br \/>The work visa is issued by the Thai Immigration Bureau. After obtaining the work permit, the original visa will be renewed for one year.<br \/>Or a two-year extension!
